COLCOM2013

Medellin - Colombia will host the 6th Conference on Communications and Computer (COLCOM 2013 - IEEE Colombian Conference on Communications and Computer).  COLCOM is the most important IEEE conference in Colombia that brings the progress, research and recent development of the academia and industry in communications and computer science.

In COLCOM-2013 the main topic is "ICT for development", the Information and Communications Technologies - ICT - are considered the driving force behind the development of a region.  In the actual world it is necessary to expand the coverage of transport and access networks, improve the services and applications that decrease the digital divide between ICTs and society.

​We invite all authors from academia and industry to submit technical papers, especially on issues related to this topic.

Papers will be reviewed by an international technical committee under the IEEE standard procedure. Accepted papers will be presented in oral sessions and will be published in the conference proceedings (IEEExplore database, including ISBN).
